The local dancers from the dzongkhag participating in Tsechu festivals. They were dressed in Bhutanese customes accordingly. The dance appears after every inervals of the Chams. The Stag Dance portrays the subjugation of the Wind God by Guru Rimpoche. As to mark his victory, Guru Rimpoche rode the stag that happened to be the mount of the god of the wind, when he subdued the wind god and appeased all beings by establishing peace and happiness.
