The south face of the Potala seen from an elevated position on Chakpori (lcags po ri). Zhöl (zhol) village is clearly visible at the base of Marpori (dmar po ri), with a wooded area in the bottom right foreground. On the left side of the image, at the base of Marpori, the Western Gate of Lhasa, Bargo Kakling (bar sgo bkag gling, can be seen.
