The southern face of the Potala, seen from Chakpori (lcags po ri) to the west. A forested park can be seen in the foreground, above which the northwest path to the Potala winds up Marpori (dmar po ri). In the background, the high ridges that line the east side of the entrance to Dokdé (dog bde) Valley can be seen.
