Facing south toward the main entrance of Rakgashar (rag ga shar), or Dokhar (mdo mkhar), Mansion. The mansion, located in the Barkor to the southwest of the Jokhang (jo khang) temple, is the Lhasa home of the Depön Dokharwa family (sde dpon mdo mkhar ba), hereditary leaders of the Taklung Kagyü (stag lung bka' brgyud) lineage and descendents of the Gazi (ga zi) clan. Two servants stand outside the front entrance while a man and child observe from the roof in the center of the image. Horses or mule and yak can be seen in the foreground.
