Description:
A battle scene, bkra shis do chung. In Bellezza 1997a, I observe that the confrontation depicted here involves infantry and cavalry figures who appear to be dressed and outfitted differently, and that this may herald an ancient interregional conflict. Weaponry includes the bow and arrow, and what might be the mdung dar (lance with a flag) This pictograph, on the basis of its physical characteristics and style, was made no later than the early historic period and could possibly be older and date to the protohistoric period.Associated Resources
