Description:
An anthropomorph with a ムmushroom-shaped' head or headdress and raised arms at the brag gtsug open air rock art theatre (I-25). Anthropomorphic figures with similarly shaped heads and poses are found in southern Siberia, Mongolia, Inner Mongolia, the Altai and Kazakhistan (see Develet, M. A. 2004. Kamenny モkompasヤ v Sayanskom kanyone Yeniseya. Moscow: Nauchny mir). Like other petroglyphs at brag gtsug, this figure dates to the pre-Buddhist period. Analogous figures in other regions of Inner Asia are sometimes ascribed by researchers using indirect means to the Bronze Age.Associated Resources
